Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess market impact for 2026+ horizons
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype futuristic solutions with commercial viability
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive cultural adoption of foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, neurotech, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through digital transformation
- Exceptional analytical and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive audience experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
