As a key member of our executive leadership team, you'll collaborate with R&D, product, and venture capital divisions to identify paradigm-shifting technologies. Your insights will directly influence our $2B innovation pipeline and guide our entry into emerging markets. You'll have the autonomy to explore uncharted technological territories while leveraging our state-of-the-art research facilities and global network of futurists.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI consciousness) and develop strategic adoption roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast market disruptions and competitive threats through 2030
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of next-gen products and services
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to access cutting-edge innovations
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and technological black swan events
- Mentor junior strategists and build a world-class futurist research team
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology lifecycle management
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (articles, books, patents)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
