Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and disruptions impacting 2026+
- Develop and maintain predictive models for market evolution and consumer behavior shifts
- Architect multi-year strategic roadmaps aligned with long-term vision
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to incubate innovation initiatives
- Conduct competitor analysis and disruptor threat assessments
- Advise leadership on regulatory and ethical implications of future technologies
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Global perspective with cross-cultural collaboration experience
