- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and risks
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and industry thought leaders
- Mentor innovation teams in future-focused methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their disruptive potential
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario-building capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning and Delphi methodology
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight preferred
