Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ by synthesizing global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and socio-economic indicators
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with Fortune 500 partners to stress-test future business models
- Produce visionary whitepapers and keynote presentations on disruptive technologies
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze patent landscapes and academic breakthroughs to identify first-mover advantages
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and policy think tanks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial initiatives (quantifiable impact required)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, or climate-tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical discipline
- Certification in scenario planning or horizon scanning (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state frameworks or trend analyses
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
