Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ trends across technology, economics, geopolitics, and social behavior
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework with quarterly trend briefings
- Translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps and business initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Document foresight methodologies and establish best practices for future-proofing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon scanning software, Delphi method)
- Passion for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal implications
