Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic scenarios using trend analysis, AI forecasting, and cross-disciplinary research
- Lead multi-stakeholder workshops to synthesize insights from quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy domains
- Produce high-impact deliverables including strategic roadmaps, innovation frameworks, and future-state prototypes
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development lifecycles for next-gen consumer and enterprise solutions
- Establish Horizon as a thought leader through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies and scenario planning techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven future-shaping impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (Web3, AGI, climate tech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year strategic implementations in tech or adjacent industries
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., SFU, foresight practitioner) strongly preferred
- Experience with horizon scanning tools, AI trend analysis platforms, and scenario modeling software
