Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks focusing on 2026+ technological and societal trends
- Develop scenario-based models predicting AI, quantum computing, and biotech disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-proof business strategies
- Produce actionable intelligence reports for C-suite and board decision-making
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive innovation pipeline development by identifying emerging market opportunities
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-relevant business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation publications
- Experience with strategic planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
