Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging global trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and social dynamics
- Develop 5-year strategic scenarios and roadmaps for organizational adaptation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster future literacy across departments
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments aligned with 2026 market projections
- Produce executive-ready trend reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Establish Horizon Labs as a thought leader through white papers and conference presentations
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven experience developing scenario planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight projects
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
