Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic roadmaps aligned with 2026 technology and market projections
- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for alternative futures
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-facing research investments
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on industry futures
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures work or strategic frameworks
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex strategic initiatives
