Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural shifts, and economic indicators to forecast 2026+ industry disruptions
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into innovation roadmaps
- Author high-impact trend reports and predictive briefings for stakeholders
- Build and maintain global network of futurists, technologists, and thought leaders
- Champion future-ready organizational capabilities and culture transformation
- Advise on long-term capital allocation and R&D prioritization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of successful trend-to-strategy translation
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation domains
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on future strategy
