Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating exponential technologies into core business operations
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on future market disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in emerging domains (e.g., AI ethics, climate tech)
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market opportunities through advanced data modeling and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation labs, or futurist research with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovation frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
