Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market dominance
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario plans for 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and business units to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders with data-backed ROI projections
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, VCs, and academic partners for trend intelligence
- Translate abstract future concepts into actionable product development roadmaps
- Champion human-centered design principles in all innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven impact
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi techniques, scenario planning)
- Track record of launching products/services based on emerging tech trends
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio showcasing strategic foresight work or innovation initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
