Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for enterprise innovation portfolios
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with executive stakeholders to align future-state visions
- Produce scenario analysis reports and quantitative trend models for strategic decision support
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to pioneer research initiatives
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through change management programs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (journals/conferences)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD, CSSP)
