Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive trends and emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to future market conditions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation pipelines
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and executive briefings
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and socioeconomic variables influencing future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused product development
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into successful commercial outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future visions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field preferred
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments
