Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, economic, and social trends to forecast disruptive forces by 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience
- Produce scenario-planning models for global market volatility and regulatory evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Author thought leadership positioning Horizon as a 2026 innovation authority
- Identify partnership ecosystems for next-generation commercialization
- Monitor emerging risks and ethical implications of technological acceleration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or relevant discipline
- Proven track record publishing trend analysis (e.g., Gartner, WEF reports)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: AI, biotech, quantum, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF, CFTE) preferred
- Experience with geopolitical risk modeling and regulatory trajectory mapping
