Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Identify and prioritize emerging market opportunities with $1B+ potential
- Design strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Create compelling innovation narratives for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a $50M innovation portfolio with 15+ concurrent projects
- Champion human-centered design principles in all innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, spatial computing, and synthetic biology
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., SWOT, STEEPLE, Delphi)
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies preferred
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 major innovation initiatives from concept to market
- Deep network of relationships with Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
