Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socio-economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to map innovation trajectories across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Design strategic roadmaps for product development and market entry targeting 2026-2030 milestones
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and trend reports influencing industry discourse
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous data
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented innovation initiatives
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, weak signal analysis)
