Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Architect innovation roadmaps and strategic frameworks for R&D, product development, and market expansion
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to generate breakthrough ideas and prototype future solutions
- Present data-driven foresight reports to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and nurture partnerships with tech incubators, research institutions, and industry disruptors
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop KPIs to measure innovation ROI and track adoption of future-ready initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching game-changing products or services in tech sectors
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking abilities
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Certification in innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup) preferred
