Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and emerging industry paradigms
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions and validate future scenarios
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of external innovation partners, academic institutions, and thought leaders
- Quantify innovation opportunities through market modeling and ROI projections
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical and synthesis abilities with complex, ambiguous information
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
