Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate technologies
- Develop speculative scenario models for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Author 'Future State' whitepapers for executive decision-making
- Curate partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech labs
- Design immersive future-vision workshops for stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI governance)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio of published future-vision frameworks or thought leadership
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
