Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic trends, and disruptive forces through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market conditions and competitive landscapes
- Translate future intelligence into actionable strategic recommendations for product development and business models
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and leadership teams to align on future-vision execution
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive models for industry adoption
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems to accelerate foresight capabilities
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technological adoption and market access
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurism with proven impact on long-term planning
- Deep expertise in trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital transformation domains
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, scenario planning)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (IEEE, HBR, or equivalent)
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and managing global research networks
