Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and disruptive technologies to forecast 5-10 year industry evolutions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation initiatives with long-term vision
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports for stakeholder communication
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current development cycles
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic signals affecting technological adoption
- Establish KPIs for tracking strategic horizon shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Proven experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-organizational transformation initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP preferred)
