Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product development plans
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and invest in disruptive startups
- Present strategic forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, nanotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience with futures simulation tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or innovation frameworks
