Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational resilience and innovation pipelines
- Translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies for product development and market expansion
- Present future outlooks to executive leadership and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Produce forward-looking reports and thought leadership content for stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into successful business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Forecasting, or MBA with specialization in Innovation
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlooks or strategic foresight projects
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner Program)
