Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon scanning data to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and socioeconomic trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product development and business opportunities
- Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics for tracking emerging technology adoption and market readiness
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-shaping authority
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience advising executive teams on long-term strategic positioning
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
