Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify emerging investment opportunities
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven storytelling
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures publications
