Responsibilities
- Develop predictive foresight models for 2026+ technology adoption curves and market disruptions
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies and societal impact
- Produce visionary white papers and trend briefings for executive and investor audiences
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects implemented
