Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and geopolitical domains to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Design and execute innovation roadmaps that align with long-term strategic objectives
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on emerging paradigms
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, nanotech, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurism work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact analysis)
