Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions (quantum computing, biotech, neural interfaces)
- Develop evidence-based innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Produce scenario-planning models for market volatility and regulatory shifts
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFP) or similar
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner)
