Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to co-create future-ready ecosystems
- Design and implement innovation governance frameworks to ensure sustainable future-proofing of organizational capabilities
- Mentor junior strategists and build a culture of curiosity and experimentation across the enterprise
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or technology consulting with demonstrable impact
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work, research papers, or innovation frameworks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead high-stakes decision-making with incomplete information
