Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and lead strategic innovation initiatives aligned with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into viable product roadmaps
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and think tanks to access cutting-edge knowledge
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops to embed future-thinking across the organization
- Monitor and report on disruption vectors affecting our industry's evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) strongly preferred
