Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop prototypes for next-gen human-AI collaboration systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies in climate tech, neurotech, and space exploration
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical deployment of exponential technologies
- Present future insights to executive boards and industry forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI
- Build global network of futurists, scientists, and thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, causal layered analysis, backcasting
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (Lean Startup, Design Thinking)
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent (e.g., APF CFIP preferred)
