Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proof strategies into corporate vision
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops with global stakeholders across tech, finance, and policy sectors
- Produce actionable trend briefings and scenario-planning frameworks for product development teams
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPI tracking
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-disciplinary innovation communities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, R&D, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and global stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Experience managing innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
