Responsibilities
- Lead scenario planning and horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2030
- Develop and communicate strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ business objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to translate emerging trends (AI, quantum, biotech) into commercial opportunities
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Produce actionable foresight reports and strategic briefs for executive decision-making
- Champion a culture of innovation through thought leadership and internal advocacy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented strategic innovations
