Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal trends, and disruptive market forces relevant to 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for long-term business planning and risk mitigation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present compelling foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future trends into actionable product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and technology evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in predictive analytics, scenario planning, and trend mapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
