Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year vision alignment
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Build and maintain ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members to drive decision-making
- Manage a portfolio of pilot projects testing futuristic concepts and market readiness
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon Labs as a future-shaping authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex futuristic concepts
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems and future-focused communities
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive change through influence rather than authority
