Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop future scenarios and roadmaps that inform multi-year business strategy and R&D priorities
- Champion innovation culture through workshops, hackathons, and cross-functional collaboration
- Partner with product and engineering teams to incubate and scale breakthrough solutions
- Present insights to executive stakeholders and boards with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation ecosystems
- Monitor competitive landscapes and disruptor threats to maintain strategic advantage
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive decision-making
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Portfolio demonstrating completed innovation projects or published foresight work
