Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market landscape
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-generation products
- Develop strategic roadmaps for client organizations adopting future-proof technologies
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Coordinate with global futurist networks to forecast socio-technological paradigm shifts
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (neuro-interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Mentor junior futurists through our proprietary 'Horizon Scanning' methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic innovation or technology forecasting roles
- Published work on 2026+ technology implications (white papers, patents, or TED talks)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Delphi method, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (nanotech, fusion energy, brain-computer interfaces)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- Certification in Applied Foresight or equivalent methodology training
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 successfully predicted technology disruptions
