Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps targeting 2026 capabilities across AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Drive innovation through internal hackathons and external ecosystem partnerships
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technology adoption impact
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global tech summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech implementation
- Proven track record of delivering future-focused initiatives (2020-2025)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strong quantitative modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
