- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for next-gen technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused project prioritization
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor a team of 8+ technical specialists and innovation fellows
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from prototype to market leadership
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Strong technical proficiency in at least one: Python, TensorFlow, or quantum computing frameworks
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
- Experience with federal grant applications (DARPA, NSF) a plus
