Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI systems to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Research quantum-resistant cryptographic methods for post-quantum security
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum annealing and superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum cryptography
- Familiarity with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to work with hybrid human-AI research methodologies
