Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating quantum, biotech, and AI convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption windows
- Develop go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies with $10M+ potential revenue
- Partner with C-suite to translate technological visions into actionable business initiatives
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech scaling
- Represent company at global tech summits and shape industry discourse on future trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record launching products/services from future-tech concepts
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data modeling skills using tools like Gartner Hype Cycle and Delphi method
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, Nature, TechCrunch)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF)
