Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with Nobel laureates and startup founders
- Identify paradigm-shifting technologies through horizon scanning and patent analysis
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board members for $500M+ R&D allocation
- Build startup partnerships in deep tech incubation programs
- Author thought leadership for MIT Technology Review and Wired
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- PhD or equivalent in CS, Biotech, or Physics with published research in Nature/Science
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$1B market impact
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, climate modeling
- Board-level experience with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Patent portfolio with >10 granted patents in future-tech domains
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
