Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps incorporating quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and spatial computing paradigms
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of emerging tech trends (AI ethics, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Design patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine collaboration systems
- Secure $5M+ in innovation funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other future-tech incubators
- Mentor a team of futurists and prototyping engineers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting (Singularity University or equivalent)
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Strong background in quantum algorithms or neuro-symbolic AI systems
- Certified in emerging tech frameworks (IEEE 2089-2025, ISO 20775)
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA)
