Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and R&D investments in frontier tech
- Create competitive intelligence frameworks and scenario analyses for technology disruption risks
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation metrics to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Mentor technical teams on future-focused technology adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Experience scaling innovation labs and managing R&D budgets exceeding $50M
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., SAP Foresight, Palisade @Risk)
