Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological breakthroughs
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Champion emerging technologies (quantum AI, neurotech, climate tech) through R&D pipelines
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-focused initiatives into corporate strategy
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation pods with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Present future tech scenarios to investors and board members with data-driven projections
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies in development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Track record of launching products with 5+ year market vision
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience leading high-budget R&D projects ($5M+)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Innovation preferred
