Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy focusing on AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies for market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive technology threats
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders
- Drive R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budget allocation
- Champion ethical technology adoption and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of translating complex tech concepts into business value
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Experience with agile methodologies and technology lifecycle management
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing large-scale innovation budgets
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
