Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and climate-positive AI
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and sustainability teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and tech incubators
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-adjacent technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough innovations (quantum/AI/bio-tech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech ethics or exponential innovation
- Experience scaling agile methodologies across global R&D teams
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized 2020-2025 tech initiatives
