Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics frameworks) into product pipelines
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing solutions with pilot programs
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, VCs, and government innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the executive board and investor committees
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical analysts to build internal foresight capabilities
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal impact of 2026 technology trends
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching at least three disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis, horizon scanning)
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, ambient AI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
